“As a final goodbye, I want to grant whoever is reading this a little insight into why this year of dance—besides it being my senior year—meant so much to me. I was gifted with the opportunity to choreograph a few dances this year. While it hasn’t been an easy road, I’m honored to say that at nationals, we placed in the top 10 of the senior duets/trios with Carley’s and my duet, “Hips Like Latin.” In addition, “Ringmaster” was the highest-scoring Hip Hop small group in the senior division. Words can’t describe the level of awe I am in: two of the hardest divisions, and we get to walk away with a top 10 placement, a Hip Hop category cup, and two double diamond scores for two of the dances I created…”
